The inaugural Encinitas Grand Prix is bicycle racing at its finest, set to take place on the historic Coast Highway 101 in downtown Encinitas.
Race fans will get up close and personal with the cyclists as they fly through the streets of downtown Encinitas. Professional races will anchor a full day of amateur and community events, lifestyles expo and festivities.
Community events include a Kids Fun Zone that will feature FREE moon bounce and rock climbing wall, a Bike Rodeo and additional entertainment. Come check out the latest in cycling equipment and healthy living in the lifestyles expo.

A full schedule of events will take place in conjunction with the Encinitas Grand Prix. A movie Night will showcase some of the best cycling movies and shorts. The Bike Rodeo kids riding safety programs will take place a several community schools and businesses throughout the year.

Encinitas Grand Prix joins forces with Swami's Cycling Club
The Encinitas Grand Prix and Swami's Cycling Club have joined forces to deliver several community based cycling programs to Encinitas and North County San Diego.
Bike Rodeo's are a primary component to these programs, which focus on promoting safe cycling at local schools in a fun a festive atmosphere. Trained technicians will perform bike safety checks and assure properly fitting helmets, and educate kids, parents and teachers on the proper rules of the road and basic riding skills. The most recent Bike Rodeo was hosted at Paul Ecke Central Elementary School where over 85 kids participated.
